Author Biographies
Carl Barker lives and works in the Scottish Borders, where he has been known to occasionally skulk round ruined castles at night, howling at the full moon.

He has published numerous horror short stories over the last few years and is an active member of both The British Fantasy Society and The Horror Writers Association.

Jessamy Corob Cook grew up in the English countryside, and spent her time looking for fairies in the woods and fields surrounding the village.  She now lives in London, but has not given up on finding fairies.  Jessamy is an actress, has also worked as a bookseller, and loves writing stories.  Her work is often inspired by fairy tales.  She has a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent.

Liz Crossland is a writer, linguist, and educator with a passion for Yorkshire tea.  She is fascinated by the structure of languages and has a degree in English Language and Linguistics from Durham University as well as an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University.

Her work has been featured in the anthology Casting Shadows: Extraordinary Tales from New Writers.  She is currently writing a novel about speed-date rambling and malevolent sheep.  When she is not writing, Liz enjoys climbing and Ceroc dancing (but not at the same time).  She has lived in many countries including Italy, Poland, and Cornwall.

Steve Keteltas is a retired computer professional and part-time teacher who now enjoys life as a poet and musician in Seminole, FL.  He is a proud member of Pinellas Authors and Writers Organization and has a penchant for twisting words.

Kummelman is a 45-year-old single dad living in Odessa, FL.  He has two teenagers, so evil fairy tales are right up his alley.  He is a contributing writer for Tactitus Publishing, and in his free time practices being sarcastic.  His day job involves a cubicle, a phone, and florescent lighting.

Charie D. La Marr is primarily known as a ghostwriter in the field of sports - mostly baseball.  She has had at least one book go to #1 on Amazon in its category.

Currently working to establish herself as an author in her own name, she has created a genre called Circuspunk (listed at Urban Dictionary) and written a collection of short stories in the genre called Bumping Noses and Cherry Pie.  She is known for writing in many different genres from crime to bizarro to erotica and even Seussian.  She is most proud of working with an Iranian translator, translating Booker Man Award Winner Vernon God Little into Persian�which became a bestseller in Iran.

A redhead with a redheaded attitude, she lives in NY with her mother and son and fur children Bailey Corwin, Babe Ruth and Casey Stengel.

Zoe McAuley grew up near Belfast, but now lives in the north of England.  She spent several years studying archaeology at Durham University and is now very good at staring at old walls.  These days she sells toy weapons for grown-ups and writes speculative fiction.

Books claimed Victor Hyde at the age of six and since then he has been working hard to make a contribution of his own to the literary world.  Bred in South Africa, Victor has experienced both the beauty and terror offered by the dark continent and works to portray this in his work.  When not reading and writing, Victor fights to regain control of his house from his wife and two cats.

Adrean Messmer lives in Oklahoma with a tiny human she created from some spare parts and her technowizard husband.  She is a member of the Horror Writers Association and the Oklahoma Writing Federation.  Her main goal in life is to give others as many awesome nightmares as she has.

Gregory L. Norris writes full time from the outer limits of New Hampshire.  His work appears regularly in national magazines and fiction anthologies, and he has written for both TV and film.  Norris is devoting 2015 -- his fiftieth year on Spaceship Earth -- to completing many of the unwritten tales in his idea catalog that howl at him in the night for their THE ENDs.

Brett Parker spends his days working in a refinery, mistrusting felines, and getting pleasure from fixing things of a mechanical nature.  He is also known in certain circles as having an excellent collection of ball caps.

Australian-born E. M. Eastick worked as an environmental professional in Britain, Ireland, and the Middle East before moving to Colorado.  Her creative efforts ignore genre boundaries: sometimes they glide on the sunshine of happy thoughts, and sometimes they wander lost and lonely in dark, squishy places.  On productive days, they do both.
